Quiet.md: Rust-powered native notes app that beats Electron speed
What is quiet-md?
Quiet.md is a fast, offline-first notes editor for macOS and Windows that stores each note as a Feishu/Lark DocxXML file. The UI is drawn directly on the GPU with Rust and GPUI, so typing and scrolling stay under a few milliseconds even in huge documents.
Who it is for
If you want a lightweight, privacy-focused alternative to Electron-based note-taking tools, install Quiet.md and keep your files in any sync service you prefer.
How to try it
Download the macOS .app or Windows installer from the GitHub releases page.
