The AI repos, models and papers that matter, spotted before everyone else.

How Early Signal works

Most AI tools you hear about on social media were sitting on GitHub for days before anyone posted about them. Early Signal exists to close that gap.

Every two hours a scanner reads GitHub trending (daily, weekly, monthly and per language), every new repository that crosses a star threshold, a watchlist of about three thousand established AI projects whose star counts we measure on each pass, Hugging Face's trending models, spaces and daily papers, Hacker News, and the blogs of the major AI labs.

Each item gets a signal score from how fast it is growing relative to everything else seen that day. The fastest movers make the front page, and an AI editor reads each one's README and writes a plain-English summary of what it does and who it is for.

Editorial picks are never for sale. One clearly labeled sponsor slot per day pays the bills. If we missed something, it is a bug: tip us off.

Get the signal first.
