Home Assistant gains local Samsung appliance control, no cloud needed
What is localthings?
LocalThings lets Home Assistant talk directly to Samsung washers, refrigerators, air conditioners and more over your home Wi-Fi. It discovers devices by IP, updates every 30 seconds, and never sends data to Samsung’s servers.
Who it is for
Anyone using Home Assistant who wants fast, private control of Samsung smart appliances can add the integration and ditch the cloud app.
